STEP 16 - HEAD TENSION

As seniors get older, HEAD TENSION can often improve. But head tension can also become more prevalent in seniors due to lifestyle changes, or underlying medical or emotional factors. Sudden changes should be evaluated by a Medical Professional. Essential Oils can be very supportive for occasional head tension. These include:

  • FRANKINCENSE

  • LAVENDER

  • PEPPERMINT

  • COPAIBA

  • ROMAN CHAMOMILE

  • CHEERUPLIFTING BLEND

  • PAST TENSE TENSION BLEND

SOOTHING HEAD HELPER RECIPE

  • 3 drops FRANKINCENSE

  • 1 drop PEPPERMINT

  • 2 drops LAVENDER

  • 1 drop HELICHRYSUM

Add oils to a 10ml roller bottle and fill bottle with Fractionated Coconut Oil. Apply as needed to back of neck, temples (be careful not to get in eyes), or top of forehead.

PAST TENSE TENSION BLEND

PAST TENSE TENSION BLEND is a blend of Wintergreen, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Cilantro, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, and Rosemary Essential Oils. These oils are known for their soothing effects on both the mind and body. TENSION BLEND’S roller bottle formulation can be conveniently applied to the body.

PRACTICAL USES

  • Massage into shoulders, neck, and back for a cooling, soothing sensation.

  • Add to temples and back of neck before taking a test or presenting in public.

  • Apply to the wrists while traveling to help calm emotions.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

TOPICAL USE: Apply to desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

CAUTIONS

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
